Please help us to avoid pollution

In the port :

• Use the port-provided toilet facilities, and do NOT use your on-board toilets unless your boat is equipped with a holding tank.
• Limit your use of water to a reasonable amount
• Never throw anything overboard.
• Separate your boat's rubbish for disposal in the separate wheelie bins provided round the port (glass, plastic, paper, oil)
• Avoid too much noise
• Avoid fuel spills, especially when refuelling
• Limit your speed to 3 knots

Ship's maintenance : (If in doubt, ask the Harbour Master)

• Waste and foul water disposal facilities are located on the fuel filling pontoon
• Dispose of engine oils and associated fluids in the specially provided containers
• Only dry out your boat in the Kerpalud area, and dispose of any resulting rubbish and fluids in the places provided
• Dispose of small spent batteries at the harbour Master's office
• Dispose of large batteries (12/24 volt etc) in the container provided

Recycling bins sink

Recycling facilities for plastic, glass, paper/cardboard, and oil have been available (near the harbour office on "Quai Neuf") since June 2008. The facilities are very useful for people who stay on board and for visitors during the summer. We believe recycling is important for the environment, please place items in the correct receptacles and keep the area tidy. Thank you.
